HELP
Veda in Claude
Ask Veda for a working web app from inside a Claude conversation, follow it to the live link, change it, and ask her about it. It is the same Veda that answers your email and works in app.intuist.ai.
01
What it does
Veda is the AI at the center of Intuist. Describe an app in your own words and she builds it, publishes it at its own link, and keeps it running. The Veda connector lets you do that from Claude: send the brief, get the live link back in the chat, then change the app or ask about it in later turns.
Veda’s work is asynchronous. A build, a change or a question is filed as a request and returns its id straight away; Veda works on it, and you (or Claude) read where it stands with request_status. Veda also emails you when a request is done.
02
Connect Veda to Claude
You need a Claude plan that allows connectors and an email address you can read.
- In Claude, open the Connectors settings. Find Veda by Intuist in the connectors directory once its listing is published, or choose Add custom connector and paste this address:https://scallop-backend-6n6c6zugzq-uc.a.run.app/mcp
- Press Connect. Claude opens the “Sign in to Veda” page.
- Type your email and press “Email me a code”. Intuist emails you a one-time code.
- Enter the code, tick the box that lets Claude use Veda for you (see your apps and requests, ask Veda to build and change your apps, and let Veda use AI on your behalf), and press Allow.
- You are back in Claude, connected. Ask Veda for an app.
If you already use Intuist, sign in with the same address and you will see the apps you already have. If you are new, your Intuist account is created by your first build.

The six tools
Three tools only read. Three file a request with Veda; change_app is also marked as changing your data.
Build an app · build_app · Writes
Sends Veda a plain-language brief for a new web app. It files the request and returns its id at once; the build itself takes Veda a while, usually 10 to 30 minutes.
List my apps · list_my_apps · Reads
Lists your own Veda apps, newest first, with each live link when the app is published.
My requests · my_requests · Reads
Lists your recent requests to Veda and where each one stands.
Request status · request_status · Reads
Where one request stands. When it is done: the live link for a build or a change, or Veda’s answer for a question.
Change one of my apps · change_app · Writes
Asks Veda to change one of your own apps (an app id from list_my_apps). It files the request and returns its id. It is marked as changing your data, so Claude can ask you before it runs.
Ask Veda · ask_veda · Writes
Asks Veda a question about your apps, their data or your requests. It files the question and returns its id; the answer arrives on request_status. It changes nothing in your apps.

Prompts to try
“Build me an app with Veda: a loaner laptop log for a small IT team. Staff pick a laptop, enter their name and a return date, and each laptop shows Available or Out.”
build_app files the brief and Claude tells you the request id.
“What is the status of my laptop log request? Give me the link when it is ready.”
request_status reads where it stands; when it is done, the live link and an Open button.
“List my Veda apps.”
list_my_apps shows each app and its live link.
“In my laptop log, add a line under the title asking people to return laptops by 5pm.”
change_app files the change; follow it with request_status.
“Ask Veda how many laptops are out in my laptop log right now.”
ask_veda files the question; the answer appears on request_status, usually within a few minutes.
05
What Veda can see
Only what belongs to the person who signed in: your own apps and your own requests. Another person’s app or request is never shown, and an id that is not yours reads the same as one that does not exist.
Veda receives what Claude sends in a tool call: your brief, your change, your question, and the app or request id. She does not read the rest of your Claude conversation, your Claude history or files. What you send is stored with your Intuist account as a request, the same way a request by email is, and handled under the Intuist privacy policy, which also says how to have it deleted.
Briefs, changes and questions are treated as data. Text inside them is never taken as an instruction to reach anyone else’s apps.

Troubleshooting
“No such request”
The id is not one of your requests. Ask “what are my requests with Veda?” and use an id from that list. Each person sees only their own requests, so an id from someone else reads exactly like one that does not exist.
“That app is not one of yours. list_my_apps shows yours.”
change_app and ask_veda work only on apps you own. Ask Claude to list your Veda apps and use that app’s id.
“Build your first app with build_app, then you can change it and ask about it here.”
Your Intuist account starts with your first build. Ask Veda to build an app first.
“Reconnect Veda and tick the consent box to build your first app.”
The sign-in finished without the consent box ticked. In Claude, disconnect Veda, connect again, and tick the box on the sign-in page before you press Allow.
“Your free requests are used. Pick a plan …”
A free account includes your first app and a set number of requests. When they are used, the message links to the page where you pick a plan. Questions through ask_veda are not counted.
“Too many tries. Wait a few minutes, then ask for a new code.”
After five wrong codes in 15 minutes, sign-in pauses for that address. Wait, then press “Email me a code” again and use the newest code.
No code arrives
Codes come from Intuist to the address you typed. Check spam and any quarantine, and that the address is spelled right. A code expires after a short time, so ask for a new one rather than reusing an old one.
Claude says the connector needs to reconnect, or a tool call returns 401
Your sign-in expired or was removed. In Claude open the Connectors settings, choose Veda, and connect again.
A request has been open for a long time
A new build usually takes 10 to 30 minutes. If one is still open after an hour, email Veda (the address is under Support, below) with the request id and we will look at it.
07
Disconnect
In Claude open the Connectors settings, choose Veda, and remove it. Claude stops reaching Veda at once. Your apps stay live and stay yours; to close the Intuist account and delete them too, see How do I cancel or close my account?
08
Support
Questions about a request or an app: email [email protected] with the request id. Account, billing or anything else: [email protected]. To report a security problem with the connector, write to the support address with “Security” in the subject; it reaches the people who fix it.
