Zoom App Guide
Intuist AI Platform is the Zoom app that lets you connect your own Zoom account to the business apps you build on Intuist, so they can work with your meetings, registrants and recordings on your behalf.
SECTION 1
Adding the app
You need an Intuist account, an app built on Intuist that uses Zoom, and a Zoom account. Reading cloud recordings and transcripts also needs a Zoom plan that includes cloud recording.
- 1
- Open your app in Veda Studio at app.intuist.ai. When the app uses Zoom, its Integrations panel lists Zoom as not connected. Press Connect next to Zoom. If an app owner sent you a link to connect your accounts, open it and press Connect next to Zoom instead.
- 2
- Sign in to Zoom if you are asked to, read the permissions Intuist AI Platform asks for, and press Allow.
- 3
- Zoom sends you back to Intuist. The Integrations panel now shows Zoom connected as your Zoom account's email address.
SECTION 2
Using the app
Once Zoom is connected, your app works with your own Zoom account, and only when you or your app ask it to.
- MEETINGS
- See your upcoming and recent meetings and the details of one meeting.
- SCHEDULE
- Create a Zoom meeting when you ask your app to.
- REGISTRANTS
- See a meeting's registrants, and register an attendee when you ask your app to.
- ATTENDANCE
- See a past meeting and who took part in it.
- RECORDINGS
- List your cloud recordings and read a meeting transcript, for example so your app can summarise it.
- PERMISSIONS
- user:read:user, user:read:email, meeting:read:list_meetings, meeting:read:meeting, meeting:read:past_meeting, meeting:read:list_past_participants, meeting:read:list_registrants, meeting:write:meeting, meeting:write:registrant, cloud_recording:read:list_user_recordings, cloud_recording:read:list_recording_files, cloud_recording:read:meeting_transcript.
SECTION 3
Removing the app
You can end the connection from Intuist, from Zoom, or both.
- IN INTUIST
- The app's owner opens the app in Veda Studio, presses Disconnect next to Zoom in the Integrations panel and confirms. The stored Zoom connection for that app (the access and refresh tokens, your Zoom name and email) is deleted at once. Deleting the app deletes it too.
- IN ZOOM
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage, then Added Apps, find Intuist AI Platform and press Remove. Zoom stops Intuist’s access straight away. To have the stored connection deleted as well, press Disconnect in Intuist, or write to [email protected] and we delete it.
SECTION 4
How we handle your Zoom data
- WHAT WE STORE
- The Zoom connection only: the OAuth access and refresh tokens, the permissions you granted, and your Zoom account name and email. It is kept in our MongoDB Atlas database, which is encrypted at rest and reached only over TLS from our backend.
- MEETING DATA
- Meetings, registrants, participants, recordings and transcripts are read from Zoom when your app asks for them. Intuist keeps no separate copy. If your app saves a result, such as a meeting summary, it stays in that app's data and is deleted when the app is deleted.
- AI PROCESSING
- When you ask your app to summarise or analyse Zoom content, the text for that request is sent to the AI model your app is set up to use (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or Intuist's own model hosted on Google Cloud).
- SHARING
- We never sell your Zoom data and never use it for advertising.
- IN TRANSIT
- All traffic between your browser, Intuist and Zoom uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
